Zelda's Golden Glow
Zelda was not like other zombies. She didn't want to stagger around groaning for brains. She wanted to dance and laugh and make friends. But zombie magic made her feel slow and heavy, and her messy hair always looked like a tangled brown nest.
One sparkly morning, Zelda sat by Moonbeam Pond, watching the ripples dance. Suddenly, a beautiful orange goldfish popped to the surface.
"Hello there!" said the goldfish, whose name was Finny. "Why do you look so gloomy?"
"I'm tired of being a zombie," Zelda sighed. "I want to feel alive again."
Finny's scales shimmered like tiny suns. "I know just what you need! A magic vitamin from the bottom of this pond. It grows on the rainbow seaweed near the magic crystal."
Zelda's eyes widened. "Really?"
"Really! But you'll have to believe in yourself to find it. The magic only works for zombie friends who truly want to change."
Zelda took a deep breath and dove into the cool water. Down she swam, past dancing lily pads and sleeping turtles. Deep below, she saw it—a glowing orange pearl resting on rainbow seaweed.
The moment she touched it, warmth spread through her body. She swam back up and gulped down the magic vitamin.
Zelda's hair began to flow like golden silk. Her skin turned pink and warm. Heavy feelings faded away, replaced by pure joy. She wasn't a zombie anymore—she was Zelda the Radiant!
"Thank you, Finny!" she cried, hugging the surprised goldfish gently. "Now I can make real friends!"
And she did. Zelda learned that believing in yourself was the greatest magic of all. She and Finny became best friends, sharing stories by Moonbeam Pond every sunset, where they both glowed with happiness.
