Whiskers and the Midnight Pyramid
Lily couldn't sleep. Her cat Whiskers kept pawing at her window, meowing like he had a secret. She grabbed her iphone and used its light to follow him into the garden.
There, glowing softly among the fireflies, stood a tiny pyramid made of moonbeams. Whiskers puffed out his chest and strutted toward it like a secret spy on an important mission.
"Wait for me!" Lily whispered, creeping behind him.
Inside the pyramid, something magical waited. Friendly zombie toys—stuffed bunnies and teddy bears with mismatched buttons and funny stitched smiles—were having a midnight party! But they looked worried.
"Our pyramid is fading!" said a button-eyed bear. "The magic spark is gone!"
Lily's iphone suddenly chimed with a special message: *Friendship is the brightest spark.* She gasped. "Whiskers, they need us!"
The cat trotted forward, and all the zombie toys gathered around. Lily began to tell them stories—adventures she and Whiskers had shared. Each tale made the pyramid glow a little brighter.
When Whiskers curled up beside a zombie rabbit and purred, the pyramid blazed like captured starlight.
"You did it!" the toys cheered. "Now our pyramid will always shine!"
They pressed a tiny glowing crystal into Lily's hand—a piece of the pyramid to remember them by.
As dawn painted the sky, Lily and Whiskers tiptoed back to her room, the crystal winking on her nightstand. Some secrets were meant to be kept, especially magical ones made of friendship and moonlight.
