When the Bull Forgot His Riddle

Leo poked at his dinner. "I don't want **spinach**," he grumbled.

His grandmother winked. "The Sphinx herself once ate spinach to grow wise."

"Yeah right."

That night, Leo's old **iPhone** buzzed on his nightstand. Not a normal buzz — a sparkle-buzz, like tiny stars trapped in glass. When he touched it, the screen showed not apps, but a golden door.

Curious, Leo tapped it. Whoosh!

He tumbled onto soft purple grass under a sky swirling with colors. A creature shuffled toward him — moving slow and wobbly, arms out stiff.

"Are you... a **zombie**?" Leo asked, eyes wide.

"No!" The creature sighed, rubbing its temples. "I'm a Sphinx. But I haven't slept in seven years because someone stole my riddle. Without it, I can't guard anything. I'm just... tired." She slumped dramatically. "Zombie tired."

A giant figure peeked from behind a cloud mountain. A **bull**, but with fur the color of twilight and stars tangled in his horns. He looked sheepish.

"I took it," the Bull admitted. "I wanted to be clever like the Sphinx. But I can't remember the riddle now. It's somewhere in my constellation."

Leo had an idea. "What if we ALL learn something instead?"

He taught the Sphinx how to nap without guilt. The Bull taught Leo that strength includes gentleness. And Leo... he learned that trying new things (even spinach) helps you grow brave enough for adventures.

Together, they found the riddle hidden in the Bull's starry shoulder: What grows stronger when you share it?

"Friendship!" they all shouted.

The Sphinx's golden eyes gleamed. "Thank you, little Leo." She pressed her paw to his forehead. Whoosh!

Leo woke in bed. His iPhone was normal again. But on his dinner plate, the spinach shimmered faintly green.

He took a bite. It tasted like starlight.

"Not bad," he whispered. And somewhere beyond the stars, a very well-rested Sphinx smiled.
