When the Bull Caught Lightning

In a cozy farmhouse lived a boy named Leo and his best friend—a massive bull named Barnaby. Barnaby was gentle as a kitten, but he had one big problem. He was scared of everything! Butterflies made him tremble. Rustling leaves sent him hiding.

One stormy afternoon, Leo's grandmother handed him a shiny red hat. "This is your grandfather's storm hat," she said with a wink. "It magic." Outside, thunder rumble like a hungry tummy. Barnaby shook with fear.

Leo placed the magic hat on Barnaby's head. POOF! The bull grew calm. His eyes sparkled like stars.

Then grandma pressed something into Leo's palm—a single glowing vitamin. "This is courage vitamin," she explained. "For anyone who needs to be brave."

Suddenly—CRACK! Lightning flashed across the dark sky. A single bolt danced toward the barn, where a litter of puppies huddled in fear!

Barnaby saw what was happening. The lightning bolt zinged closer. But instead of running, Barnaby charged! With the magic hat on his head and courage in his heart, he caught the lightning bolt between his horns like catching a butterfly.

The puppies gasped. Barnaby's horns glowed rainbow colors! The lightning wasn't scary anymore—it was beautiful.

From that day on, Barnaby was never afraid again. He learned that courage doesn't mean you're not scared. It means being scared but doing something brave anyway. And sometimes, all you need is a magic hat, a special friend, and a little bit of courage vitamin to catch your own lightning.
