The Zombie Who Loved to Swim

In the magical town of Sunflower Valley, there lived a friendly zombie named Zippy. But Zippy wasn't scary at all — he was just a little lonely. His messy green **hair** always stuck up in funny directions, no matter how much he tried to comb it.

Every day, Zippy watched the children splashing in the crystal-blue lake. "I wish I could go **swimming** too," he sighed, "but everyone runs away when they see me."

One hot afternoon, an **orange** butterfly landed on Zippy's nose. It didn't fly away! It fluttered its wings, as if inviting him to follow. Zippy's heart fluttered too.

The butterfly led him to the lake where a little girl named Lily was skipping stones. When she saw Zippy, she didn't scream. Instead, she smiled and pointed at his green hair. "Your hair looks like yummy spinach!"

Zippy giggled. "Would you like to be my friend?"

Lily nodded. "I've been looking for someone to help me build the biggest sandcastle ever!"

Suddenly, dark clouds gathered overhead. A flash of **lightning** lit up the sky! CRACK-BOOM went the thunder. Lily looked scared.

"Don't worry," Zippy said bravely. "My zombie body doesn't feel cold or wet. I can carry you to safety!"

Zippy lifted Lily onto his shoulders and marched through the rain. His zombie skin protected her from the storm. They reached her cozy treehouse just as another lightning bolt struck.

"You're not scary at all," Lily whispered. "You're the best friend ever."

From that day on, Zippy was never lonely again. He learned that true friends see what's in your heart, not how you look on the outside. And sometimes, the most unexpected friendships are the most wonderful ones of all.

Now Zippy goes swimming every day with his new friends, his messy green hair floating like seaweed in the water, and his heart full of joy.
