The Zombie Who Loved to Play

zombiepalmfoxpadel

In a magical forest where the trees glowed softly at night, there lived a little zombie named Zilly. But Zilly wasn't scary at all — she was green and friendly, with bright purple eyes that twinkled like stars. She just wanted to make friends, but everyone ran away when they saw her coming.

One sunny morning, Zilly sat under a giant palm tree, watching the other children play. Suddenly, a clever little fox with orange fur popped out from behind the tree!

"Hello!" said the fox. "I'm Felix. Why are you sitting alone?"

"Nobody wants to play with a zombie," Zilly sighed. "They think I'm scary."

Felix smiled. "I'm not scared of you! Come with me! I know somewhere special."

He led Zilly to a beautiful beach with sparkling blue water. There, children were playing padel — a fun game like tennis, where everyone laughed and hit balls back and forth over a net.

"Padel looks like so much fun," Zilly said wistfully. "But I don't know how to play."

"I'll teach you!" Felix offered kindly. And so the fox and the zombie became best friends. Felix showed Zilly how to hold the racket, how to hit the ball, and how to run across the sand.

At first, the other children were nervous. But when they saw Zilly laughing and playing with Felix, something magical happened. They realized Zilly wasn't scary at all — she was kind, funny, and loved having fun just like them!

Soon, everyone wanted to be on Zilly's team. She became the best padel player in the whole magical forest, not because she was the fastest or strongest, but because she always encouraged her teammates and never gave up.

That evening, as Zilly and Felix sat under the same palm tree, watching the sunset paint the sky pink and gold, Zilly smiled.

"Thank you, Felix," she said. "You taught me something wonderful."

"What's that?" asked the fox.

"That true friends see with their hearts, not their eyes. And that's the most important magic of all."

And from that day on, in that magical forest where the trees glowed softly at night, everyone learned that friendship comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors — even green ones.
