The Zombie Who Loved Spinach

In the magical land of Giza, where sand dunes sparkled like sugar, lived a little zombie named Zeb. Unlike other zombies who moaned and shuffled all day, Zeb was different—he loved to garden!

Every morning, Zeb would water his vegetable patch behind the great pyramid. His favorite plant was spinach. "Leafy and green, the best you've seen!" Zeb would cheerfully sing.

One day, the ancient Sphinx woke up from her thousand-year nap. She stretched her stone paws and yawned.

"Who's making all that noise?" the Sphinx grumbled.

Zeb peeked out from behind his spinach plants. "It's me! I'm Zeb the zombie gardener!"

The Sphinx had never met a happy zombie before. Most zombies she knew were grumpy and tired. But Zeb's gray skin glowed with joy.

"Why are you so cheerful?" the Sphinx asked. "You're a zombie. You should be moaning and groaning."

Zeb shook his head. "I discovered something amazing! Every day, I eat fresh spinach from my garden. It's full of vitamins that make me strong and happy!"

The Sphinx was curious. "Vitamins? What are those?"

"They're like magic spells inside food," Zeb explained. "Spinach has vitamin A for bright eyes, vitamin C for energy, and vitamin K for strong bones. That's why I can dance and sing instead of shuffling around!"

The Sphinx's stone eyes widened. "Could spinach help me too? I've been grumpy for three thousand years."

Zeb plucked a big leafy bunch of spinach. "Try it!"

The Sphinx took a bite—and suddenly, her stone face softened into a smile! Color bloomed in her cheeks, and she started to dance!

"I feel wonderful!" the Sphinx exclaimed. "No more riddles for travelers. From now on, I'll share vitamins with everyone!"

And so, Zeb and the Sphinx opened Giza's first vitamin stand. Zombies from everywhere came to try the magical spinach. Soon, the whole desert was filled with dancing, happy zombies.

Zeb learned that sometimes the best magic isn't found in pyramids or ancient spells—it's in a garden, growing fresh and green, waiting to be shared with friends.
