The Zombie Who Loved Spinach

Leo and his golden dog Sunny discovered something strange behind the old oak tree. A miniature pyramid sparkled in the sunlight, no bigger than a shoebox. Curious, Leo pushed open the tiny door.

Inside, the pyramid was enchanted! The walls glowed with stars that danced like fireflies. In the center sat a little green creature—all floppy arms and sleepy eyes.

"I'm a zombie," the creature whispered. "But not the scary kind. I'm just very, very hungry."

Leo reached into his backpack. His mom had packed him spinach and carrots for lunch. "Would you like some spinach?" he asked.

The zombie's eyes lit up. He took one bite of the green leaves and—POOF!—stood up tall and strong. "Magical spinach! Thank you!" He did a happy spin, then handed Leo a perfect orange. "This is no ordinary fruit. One bite makes your imagination come alive!"

Leo took a bite, and suddenly he could see music floating in colorful ribbons around him. Sunny barked at a butterfly that was actually a tiny fairy.

"Wow!" Leo laughed. The zombie smiled, his floppiness gone. "You shared your lunch, so I share my magic. That's how friendship works."

Leo visited the pyramid every day after school. He brought spinach, and the zombie taught him how to make flowers sing and rocks dance. Sunny loved chasing the musical notes.

One day, the zombie nodded. "You've learned the secret, Leo. The best magic isn't in oranges or pyramids. It's in kindness. Whenever you share what you have, you create magic."

Leo understood. The pyramid faded away, but he didn't need it anymore. He had Sunny, his imagination, and the knowledge that sharing spinach with a friend could change everything.

And sometimes, when he ate an orange, he could still see the music dancing around him.
