The Zombie Who Loved Papaya

Lily and Max loved exploring behind their house, especially near the old **water** wheel where the stream whispered secrets. One sunny afternoon, they were **running** through the tall grass when something bright orange caught Lily's eye.

"Look!" she gasped, pointing to a strange fruit hanging from a vine they'd never seen before. It was shaped like a pear but glowed with golden light. "It's a **papaya**! But it's sparkling..."

Before Max could warn her, Lily took a bite. Suddenly, the world around them shimmered like sunshine on the ocean. Through the magic haze, they spotted someone moving slowly near the old **padel** court at the edge of the woods.

The figure shuffled strangely, arms stretched forward, moaning softly. "It's a **zombie**!" Max whispered, grabbing Lily's hand.

But the magical papaya showed them the truth. The zombie wasn't scary at all — he was just lonely, practicing padel all by himself. Every time he hit the ball against the wall, he'd sigh so sadly that leaves trembled on nearby trees.

Lily's heart melted. "He needs friends!"

They approached carefully. The zombie's name was Zeb, and he'd been shuffling alone for 300 years because everyone ran away from him. But Lily and Max stayed. They played padel together until sunset, laughing as Zeb learned to smile again.

That night, Lily understood what the magic papaya had taught her: things aren't always what they seem, and kindness can turn monsters into friends. Sometimes, the scariest creatures just need someone to play with.
