The Zombie Who Loved Padel
Lila loved playing padel at the sunny court near her grandmother's garden. She'd swing her racquet, hitting the ball against the walls with a *thwack-thwack* sound that made her smile. But lately, something strange had been happening.
Every afternoon, Lila would spot a green figure lurking behind the papaya tree. It had messy hair, mismatched clothes, and moved in a jerky way—like a zombie! At first, Lila was frightened. Who was this mysterious creature?
One day, Lila's papaya rolled across the padel court, stopping right at the zombie's feet. She held her breath. The creature picked up the fruit and... smiled?
"I'm Zara," the zombie said shyly. "I'm not really a zombie. I'm just the garden keeper, and I haven't slept in three days because the magical papayas won't stop glowing!"
Lila giggled. "Want to play padel? It might help you relax."
Zara's eyes lit up. She picked up a racquet and together they played the most magical game of padel ever. Every time Zara hit the ball, sparkles trailed behind it. The papayas glowed brighter, lighting up the whole court like tiny lanterns.
"You're amazing!" Lila cheered.
Zara laughed—a sound like wind chimes. "The garden needed joy, not worry. Thank you for being my friend."
That evening, the glowing papayas finally dimmed, and Zara could finally rest. Lila learned that sometimes the scariest things are just lonely hearts waiting for friendship—and a game of padel.
