The Zombie Who Loved Padel
Lily discovered something magical in her grandmother's attic. An old iPhone, covered in dust, connected to a strange glowing cable. When she touched the cable, sparks danced like fireflies!
"Hello?" a voice crackled from the phone. But it wasn't a normal voice — it sounded friendly and slightly muffled, like someone speaking through a pillow.
"I'm Zom!" said the voice. "I'm a zombie, but don't worry — I don't eat brains. I eat strawberries!"
Lily giggled. A zombie who loved fruit?
"I live in Padel Kingdom," Zom explained. "It's a magical place inside your phone where we play padel all day! But I'm lonely. No one wants to play with a zombie."
Lily's heart melted. "I'll play with you!"
"But you're too big to come inside," Zom said sadly.
Lily looked at the glowing cable. An idea sparked in her mind. She remembered how her grandmother said magic lives in believing.
"I believe in you, Zom!" she shouted, holding the cable tight. "I believe we can be friends, no matter what!"
The cable glowed brighter than sunshine. Suddenly, Zom appeared — not scary at all! He was green and fuzzy, with a big smile and a padel racket in his hand.
"You believed!" Zom cheered. "That's the strongest magic!"
They played padel together, laughing as the ball bounced between worlds. Zom taught Lily that kindness matters more than appearances, and friendship can bridge any divide.
"Thank you," Zom whispered when it was time for him to return. "You saw me, not just what people think zombies should be."
Lily smiled, holding the magical cable. Sometimes the best friends are the ones you least expect — and the real magic is believing in each other.
