The Zombie Who Loved Green Things

Zara was not like other zombies. While her friends stumbled around looking for brains, Zara spent her mornings in a magical garden, tending to her favorite plant in the whole world—spinach!

"It makes my green skin glow!" Zara would say, showing off her shiny arms to anyone who listened.

One day, a fluffy black cat with wild, tangled hair jumped over the garden fence. The cat's name was Whiskers, and he was the most adventurous cat in all of Shadow Valley.

"I've found something amazing!" Whiskers meowed excitedly. "Follow me!"

Zara grabbed a bunch of fresh spinach for the journey and followed Whiskers through the Whispering Woods. They climbed higher and higher until they reached something incredible—a golden pyramid that sparkled like captured sunshine!

"The Pyramid of Wishes," Whiskers whispered. "Legends say it grants one wish to those who are kind and true."

But standing in front of the pyramid was a grumpy old zombie named Grumble. "No wishes for you! I was here first, and I wish for all the spinach in the world to disappear!"

Zara gasped. Spinach was her favorite food! It made her strong and healthy.

"But Grumble," Zara said gently, "spinach helps zombies stay healthy. Why would you want to take that away from everyone?"

Grumble crossed his arms. "Because I don't like it. Nobody should have it if I don't want it!"

Zara thought carefully. She looked at her fresh spinach, then at Grumble's pale, tired face. "What if... you tried it? My mom makes the most delicious spinach pie. Want to taste it?"

Grumble had never been offered food before. Zara shared her spinach, and to everyone's surprise, Grumble's eyes lit up.

"This... this is wonderful!" Grumble smiled. "I feel stronger already!"

The pyramid began to glow. Ancient words appeared: True kindness brings the greatest magic.

Suddenly, three beautiful wishes floated out—not just for Zara, but for Grumble and Whiskers too!

Zara wished for a community garden where everyone could grow fresh food together. Grumble wished for friends to share meals with. Whiskers wished for endless adventures.

The pyramid granted all three wishes, and from that day on, zombies, cats, and creatures of all kinds gathered in Zara's magical garden. They grew spinach, carrots, and friendship together.
