The Zombie Who Lost His Hair
Lily loved helping her grandmother in the sunny garden. Every morning, they would water the colorful flowers and check on the tomatoes growing tall against the wooden fence.
One Tuesday, Lily noticed something strange behind the old oak tree. A small figure sat on a tree stump, looking very sad. It was a zombie, but not a scary one — he was green and friendly, with the biggest, kindest eyes Lily had ever seen.
"What's wrong?" Lily asked gently.
The zombie sighed. "I lost my hair. It used to be curly and brown, but it all fell out when I became a zombie. Now everyone runs away from me."
Lily smiled. "I have an idea! My grandmother gives me a special vitamin mixture every morning to make my hair shiny and strong. Maybe it could help you too!"
She ran inside and returned with a small bottle. Inside was a magical potion made from oranges, carrots, and something secret that only grandmothers know.
The zombie drank it carefully. Nothing happened at first. But then — POP! POP! POP! — curly green hair started growing all over his head! It was the most beautiful hair Lily had ever seen!
"Thank you!" the zombie cheered. "Now I can play padel with the other kids at the park!"
That afternoon, Lily watched as her new friend joined a group of children playing padel. The zombie's curly hair bounced as he laughed and ran, hitting the ball with his racquet.
But then a large bull from the nearby farm wandered onto the court. The children were scared and started to run away.
The zombie didn't run. He walked up to the bull and patted its giant head gently. The bull closed its eyes and made a happy sound. The zombie had discovered something wonderful — the bull wasn't mean at all. It just wanted to play!
Soon, everyone was playing together: children, the zombie with his magical curly hair, and even the bull, who carefully tapped the ball back with its nose when it came near.
Grandmother watched from her porch and smiled. "Sometimes," she called out, "the things that seem different or scary are just waiting for someone to give them a chance."
Lily waved at her new zombie friend and knew she would never judge someone by how they looked again. Because sometimes the best friends come from the most unexpected places — and a little kindness can grow magical things, even hair on a zombie's head.
