The Zombie Who Learned to Play
In a land where the sun always shone, there lived a zombie named Zeb. But Zeb wasn't scary at all. He was just lonely and very, very slow. His greenish skin felt crusty, and his feet dragged through the sand.
One day, Zeb discovered something amazing — a crystal pyramid rising from the desert floor. Inside, cool blue water sparkled like diamonds. Zeb splashed the water on his face. Suddenly, his skin felt softer! He splashed again and again, until he could move faster than ever before.
Zeb heard laughter nearby. Three children were playing padel in a nearby court — a fun game with paddles and a bouncy ball.
"Want to play?" called a girl named Maya.
Zeb nodded, but he felt clumsy. The ball zoomed past him every time. The children giggled, but not in a mean way.
"You need energy!" said a boy named Leo. He pulled a glowing orange from his pocket. "This magic vitamin fruit grows on the special tree by the water."
Zeb took a bite. ZING! Energy rushed through him like a happy river. He ran, he jumped, he swung his paddle — and HIT THE BALL!
From that day on, Zeb played padel every morning, splashed in the pyramid's magical water, and shared vitamin fruits with his friends.
Zeb learned something wonderful: friendship and fun give you more energy than any potion ever could. And the children learned that even someone who looks different on the outside can be the best friend you've ever had.
Now Zeb wasn't slow anymore. But more importantly, he wasn't lonely either.
