The Zombie Who Found Friends

Once upon a time, in the middle of the Magical Forest, lived a big brown bear named Benny. Benny was gentle and loved honey, but sometimes he felt lonely swimming and eating berries all by himself.

One sunny morning, Benny met a clever fox named Fiona. She had the softest orange fur and the brightest eyes. "Would you like to play with me?" Fiona asked. Benny nodded his big head happily.

As they played near the old cable car station, they heard a strange sound. "Groooaaan..." came a voice from behind the bushes.

Benny hid behind Fiona. "What's that?"

Fiona, being brave, peeked through the leaves. "It's a zombie! But wait... he doesn't look scary at all."

The zombie, whose name was Zed, looked sad. His skin was pale green, and he moved slowly. "Everyone runs away from me," Zed said. "I just want a friend."

"Why don't you come play?" asked Fiona kindly.

Zed shook his head. "I can't. I'm cursed by this old cable wrapped around my leg. It makes me walk slowly, and people think I'm scary because of it."

Benny came out from behind Fiona. "Maybe we can help!" The bear used his strong claws to untangle the cable, while Fiona found a magical orange flower that sparkled with friendship magic.

"This orange flower will break any curse," Fiona said, touching it to Zed's leg. Suddenly, the cable fell away, and Zed's skin turned a healthy pink color!

"Thank you!" Zed cheered, jumping for joy. "You're my best friends!"

From that day on, Benny, Fiona, and Zed played together every day. The other animals learned that even someone who looks different on the outside can have the kindest heart.

And the moral? True friendship sees with your heart, not your eyes. Sometimes the scariest-looking creatures just need someone to give them a chance.
