The Zombie Who Forgot to Be Scary

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic. One rainy Saturday, she found something extraordinary behind an old trunk: a friendly zombie boy!

But this wasn't a scary zombie. His name was Zed, and he was completely green—and completely forgot he was supposed to be frightening.

"I'm supposed to be scary," Zed said sadly, his buttons for eyes blinking. "But I keep wanting to share my toys instead."

Lily giggled. "Maybe you're not a zombie. Maybe you're a friend!"

Zed's chest made a whirring sound. "A friend?"

Just then, Lily discovered something else amazing: a thick rainbow-colored cable snaking across the attic floor. When she touched it, the cable began to glow!

"That's the Imagination Cable!" Zed exclaimed. "My creator told me about it. It connects to the Kingdom of Wonder!"

The cable pulsed with light, and suddenly, a tiny fairy zoomed into the attic riding on the cable like a magical slide. She was holding a glowing orange bottle.

"Help!" cried the fairy. "The Kingdom of Wonder needs your help! Our Dream Vitamin supply has run out!"

"Dream Vitamin?" Lily asked.

"It's what gives children their courage and creativity!" the fairy explained. "Without it, kids stop believing in magic and themselves!"

Zed's chest whirred excitedly. "I can help! I may be a zombie, but I have something special." He pressed a button on his green arm, and a map appeared. "I know the shortcut!"

So they began running—running through the attic, into a magical portal that opened when Lily grabbed the Imagination Cable, and straight into a world made of candy clouds and rainbow rivers.

They discovered the Dream Vitamin factory guarded by a grumpy goblin who was hoarding all the bottles.

"Why are you doing this?" Lily asked bravely.

"Nobody believed in me," the goblin muttered.

Zed stepped forward. "I believe in you. Even zombies can make friends."

The goblin's eyes widened. "A zombie who wants to help?"

Soon, the goblin was helping them distribute Dream Vitamins to children everywhere. Each vitamin helped kids run faster towards their dreams, imagine bigger stories, and always remember that friends come in all shapes, sizes, and colors—even green!

Lily and Zed became best friends, and every night, they'd slide down the Imagination Cable for new adventures. After all, the best magic isn't about being scary—it's about being kind.
