The Zombie Who Forgot Sunshine
Lily and Max loved running through the Whispering Woods. Their sneakers crunched on golden leaves as they chased each other deeper into the forest than ever before. Suddenly, they discovered something magical – a glowing padel court hidden among ancient trees.
"I've never seen a racquet quite like this!" Lily gasped, picking up a shimmering blue padel. It hummed with warmth in her hands.
A groan echoed from behind a mossy bush. Out shambled Zambi, a zombie with patchy green skin and the kindest eyes the children had ever seen. But Zambi looked terribly tired.
"I used to run this court every day," Zambi sighed sadly. "But I've forgotten how to dance in the sunshine. Now I'm all stiff and slow."
Max's eyes widened. "You need vitamins! My mom says sunshine and running give you the best vitamins ever!"
"Yes!" Lily's face brightened. "Zambi, come play with us! The padel wants you to hold it!"
Zambi's wrinkly hand trembled as he took the glowing racquet. Lily and Max began running, laughing, calling for him to join. Something magical happened – with every step Zambi took, his green skin grew brighter. With every swing of the padel, his stiff joints loosened.
The three friends ran until sunset, playing padel and dancing in circles. Zambi's zombie grays transformed to vibrant greens, then golds, then finally – a healthy, happy glow!
"The best vitamin," Zambi beamed, hugging his new friends, "is vitamin friendship!"
Every afternoon, Lily, Max, and Zambi could be found running together at their magical court. The zombie who had forgotten sunshine had finally remembered how to live.
