The Zombie Who Forgot How to Scare

In a tiny village where stars twinkled like sugar sprinkles, there lived a zombie named Zomberry. But Zomberry wasn't scary at all — he was purple, fluffy, and loved to dance!

One stormy night, Zomberry watched lightning flash across the sky like nature's fireworks. Each bolt made his green hair stand up in silly directions — zap! zap! zap! The other zombies laughed and pointed. "Real zombies don't smile!" they said. "Real zombies don't dance!" But Zomberry just kept twirling.

The next morning, Zomberry found a magical pond by the old palm tree. The water shimmered with rainbow colors, and something wonderful peeked out — a mermaid with flowing blue hair!

"I'm Marina," she said. "This water shows your true self. What do you see?"

Zomberry looked. Instead of a scary monster, he saw someone spreading joy and making friends. "But zombies are supposed to be scary," he whispered, looking at his feet.

Marina splashed water gently toward him. "Maybe you're not really a zombie. Maybe you're something entirely new — a Joybringer!"

Suddenly, the village children ran by, scared of the storm. Zomberry didn't think. He started dancing and making silly faces. The children stopped being afraid and began to giggle. Soon, everyone was dancing together in the rain!

The other zombies watched from the shadows. One by one, they stepped forward and started dancing too. Their scary faces softened into smiles.

Zomberry learned that night that being yourself — even when you're different — is the bravest thing of all. And sometimes, the thing you think makes you weird is actually your greatest gift.

Now every full moon, all the creatures gather by the magical palm tree. The mermaids splash in the rainbow water, the zombies dance (very badly), and lightning bugs twinkle like tiny lanterns. Because in a world full of scary things, sometimes the best magic of all is being exactly who you are.
