The Zombie Who Forgot How to be Scary

In the magical town of Sunshine Valley, lived a little zombie named Zippy. But Zippy wasn't like other zombies. He didn't want to moan or scare people. He loved flowers and sunshine, which made his green skin glow even brighter.

One day, Zippy was running through the meadow, chasing butterflies and laughing. But when he reached the playground, all the children ran away, screaming, "A zombie!" Zippy's heart sank. He just wanted to play.

Lily, the bravest girl in Sunshine Valley, noticed something strange. Zippy wasn't chasing them. He was crying, sparkling tears that looked like tiny emeralds. She walked over slowly.

"Why are you crying?" she asked.

"Nobody wants to be my friend because I'm a zombie," Zippy sniffled. "But I don't even remember how to be scary!"

Lily's grandmother was a wise scientist who made special vitamins for different feelings. She ran home and returned with a small orange bottle. "These are friendship vitamins," she explained. "One chewable tablet helps you see the real person inside."

The other children watched nervously as Lily handed Zippy a vitamin. He chewed it carefully, and suddenly, his eyes twinkled like stars.

"I'm Zippy," he said, his voice sounding like music. "I love drawing and telling stories."

Lily smiled. "I'm Lily, and I love adventures. Want to come to my treehouse?"

Zippy nodded enthusiastically. Soon, all the children gathered around, amazed that zombies could love stories too. They spent the afternoon running around, playing tag, and learning that Zippy wasn't scary at all.

From that day on, Zippy became Sunshine Valley's most beloved friend. The children learned that the real magic wasn't in vitamins or even being brave. It was in giving everyone a chance, no matter how different they seemed.

And sometimes, the scariest-looking creatures just need someone to see who they really are inside.
