The Zombie Who Dreamed of Pyramids

Lily was building something extraordinary in her backyard. Not a fort, not a castle, but a perfect pyramid made of her dad's old books. She climbed to the top, imagining she was in Egypt, exploring ancient secrets.

Then something strange happened. The pyramid began to glow. A soft green light pulsed from between the books, and suddenly - POP! - a figure appeared beside her.

Lily gasped. It looked like a zombie, but not the scary kind from movies. This zombie had bright purple skin, wore sparkly sneakers, and was holding a half-eaten sandwich.

"Hello!" the zombie said cheerfully. "I'm Zed, and I think I'm lost."

Lily blinked. "You're... a zombie?"

"Technically, yes," Zed nodded. "But I'm a vegetarian zombie. I only eat vegetables. That's why I was drawn here - I smelled your mom's garden!"

Lily giggled. "I'm Lily. And this is my pyramid."

Zed's eyes widened. "A PYRAMID! I've always wanted to see one! In Zombie World, we only have square buildings. So boring!"

Suddenly, Lily's palm tree blew a coconut toward them. It landed right at Zed's feet.

"Is that... a coconut?" Zed asked, amazed. "From a palm tree?"

Lily nodded. "Yeah, palm trees are awesome. They give us shade, coconuts, and sometimes we can even climb them!"

Zed looked from the palm tree to the pyramid to Lily, and his purple face lit up. "You know what? I think this is the best adventure ever! I saw my first pyramid, met my first human, and discovered palm trees all in one day!"

Lily smiled. "And I met my first zombie friend. Who would've guessed zombies could be so fun?"

From that day on, Zed visited often. He helped Lily build bigger pyramids, learned to climb palm trees (which was hilarious - zombies aren't very graceful), and they even started a backyard club called "The Pyramid Explorers." Other kids wanted to join, but Lily had a rule: first, you had to learn that sometimes the scariest-looking things can turn out to be the best friends.

The moral? Never judge someone by how they look - even if they happen to be a purple zombie who loves pyramids and palm trees!
