The Zombie's Sunshine Surprise

In the magical Whispering Woods lived a little green creature named Zom. Everyone called him "the little zombie" because he moved slowly, dragging his feet, and always looked half-asleep. But Zom wasn't scary at all — he was just very lonely.

One bright morning, a girl named Lily was exploring the forest when she found Zom sitting by a sparkling water stream. His droopy head rested on his knees.

"Hello!" said Lily bravely. "Would you like to be my friend?"

Zom's large purple eyes widened in surprise. A slow, sleepy smile spread across his face. "I've never had a friend before," he whispered.

Lily sat beside him. "Why do you move so slowly?"

"I need sunshine vitamin," Zom explained. "I live in this dark, shadowy forest and never get enough. That's why I'm always tired and sluggish."

Lily jumped up. "I know exactly what you need!"

She took Zom's hand and led him through the trees to her secret garden — a magical place where sunbeams danced on the flowers and the water sparkle like diamonds. There, she showed him how to drink from the golden spring and eat the sunshine berries that glowed with warmth.

Every day for a whole week, Lily brought Zom to the sunny garden. They laughed, played tag, and told stories. And something magical began to happen.

Zom started moving faster! His slow zombie walk became a skip, then a hop, then a joyful bounce. His green skin began to glow. The sleepy little zombie was now full of energy and light!

The other forest creatures couldn't believe their eyes. "Is that really Zom?" asked a rabbit. "He's the fastest, happiest friend in the woods!"

"You're my best friend," Zom told Lily, giving her a big hug. "Thank you for helping me find my sunshine."

Lily smiled. "And you're mine too! I learned something important — sometimes, things that seem different or scary just need a little kindness to shine."

From that day on, Zom was never called the sleepy zombie again. He was Zom the Sunny Friend, and he and Lily played together every single day, spreading magic and happiness throughout the Whispering Woods.
