The Zombie's Secret Garden Party

Lily discovered the magical pool behind her grandmother's house on a hot summer day. The water shimmered with an unusual orange glow, like liquid sunshine. When she dipped her toes in, something amazing happened—the water turned into floating bubbles that smelled like sweet papaya!

Suddenly, a green figure emerged from behind a mango tree. Lily gasped—it looked like a zombie! But instead of being scary, this zombie wore a flower crown and glasses. "Boo!" he said, then immediately giggled. "I'm Zed, and I bet you're surprised."

"You're not scary at all!" Lily exclaimed.

Zed smiled sadly. "Everyone thinks I'm scary because I'm green and shuffle when I walk. But really, I just love gardening. This pool is special—it grows magical fruits that bring people joy."

Lily's iPhone buzzed in her pocket. She'd been so busy playing video games all summer that she hadn't made any friends or had any real adventures. Something about Zed's sad smile made her want to help.

"Let's have a party!" Lily suggested. "We can share your magical fruits with everyone!"

Zed's eyes lit up. "Really? But who would come to a party hosted by a zombie?"

Lily took photos of the enchanted pool with her phone and sent them to her classmates. Within an hour, kids arrived with their families. They tasted the magical papaya that made them feel brave, and oranges that made them laugh until their tummies hurt.

Zed transformed from shy to confident as he showed children how to plant magical seeds. No one was afraid anymore—they saw how kind and gentle he really was.

That evening, Lily realized something wonderful: sometimes the scariest-looking creatures have the sweetest hearts, and the best adventures start when you put down your phone and look for magic in unexpected places.
