The Zombie's Pool Party

Lily's cat Whiskers was not an ordinary cat. Every full moon, he would sneak out to the old swimming pool behind their house and stare at the water with big golden eyes, as if waiting for something magical to happen.

One hot summer night, Lily followed Whiskers and couldn't believe her eyes! Rising from the pool was not a scary monster, but a friendly zombie named Zara. Her green skin sparkled with tiny stars, and she wore a beautiful flower crown.

"I've been so lonely," Zara said sadly. "Everyone runs away when they see me, even though I just want to make friends."

Whiskers rubbed against Zara's leg, purring loudly. The brave cat seemed to know that true friends don't judge by appearances.

Lily smiled brightly. "I'm Lily, and this is Whiskers! Would you like to play with us?"

Zara's face lit up like sunshine. She taught them the most amazing water dances, making rainbow ripples that glowed in the moonlight. They laughed and played until the stars began to fade.

"I'll come back every full moon," Zara promised. "Thank you for seeing the real me."

Lily learned that sometimes the most wonderful friendships come from the most unexpected places. She also learned that her cat Whiskers was the best friend-finder in the whole world.

From that night on, Lily never judged anyone by how they looked. And every full moon, the pool became the most magical place in the world, where a girl, her brave cat, and a friendly zombie would dance among the stars, splashing water that turned into tiny rainbows before disappearing with the dawn.
