The Zombie's Magical Lightning Pool

Lily loved summer evenings at her grandmother's house. The best part was the old swimming pool in the backyard, which seemed to sparkle with its own mysterious light when the sun went down.

One night, as Lily sat by the pool playing with her grandmother's iphone, something extraordinary happened. A tiny, green zombie appeared on the screen and waved at her! His name was Zeb, and he explained he was trapped inside a video game.

"I need your help, Lily!" Zeb squeaked. "The only way to free me is to find something magical that bridges the digital world and the real world."

Lily looked around. Suddenly, the sky crackled with lightning as a summer storm rolled in. A bolt of lightning struck the pool, turning the water into a swirling, glowing portal of purple and blue light.

"The lightning pool!" Zeb cheered. "That's exactly what we need!"

Lily wasn't scared. She held the iphone close to the magical water, and suddenly Zeb popped out of the screen—now real and only six inches tall!

"Thank you, Lily!" Zeb danced on the pool's edge. "You showed true courage by helping someone you'd just met."

But as the lightning faded, Zeb started to fade too. "I need to go home now," he said sadly. "But I'll never forget your kindness."

Lily understood that some friendships are brief but precious. She waved goodbye as Zeb became smaller and smaller, disappearing into the last sparkles of the magical pool.

The next morning, the pool looked ordinary again. But Lily knew better. Sometimes, the most amazing adventures come from being brave enough to help others—even tiny zombie friends from inside an iphone who teach us that kindness is the strongest magic of all.
