The Zombie's Magical Garden

Lily loved her grandmother's garden. Every Saturday, they would water the rainbow-colored flowers together. But today something strange happened.

While Lily was watering the petunias, she heard a soft groan coming from behind the old oak tree. Being a brave girl, she peeked around the trunk and gasped.

A small green figure sat there, looking very sad. It had messy hair and patched-up clothes. A zombie! But not a scary one like in stories—this one looked lonely.

"Are you... lost?" Lily asked, stepping closer.

The zombie looked up with kind brown eyes. "I'm Zim. I was looking for my padel racket. My friends and I play every sunset, but I tripped and can't find it."

Lily's eyes widened. "You play padel? That's my favorite game too!"

Zim smiled. "Yes, but I'm so hungry I can't think straight. Do you have anything to eat?"

Lily thought for a moment. "My grandma grows the most delicious spinach in her garden. Want to try some?"

Zim's eyes lit up. "Spinach? My favorite!"

They ran to the garden. Lily pulled fresh spinach leaves from the soil. Zim took a bite and his whole body sparkled with green light.

"Magical spinach!" Zim cheered. "Now I have energy to find my racket and play with my friends!"

Lily helped Zim search, and they found the racket caught in a bush. Just then, three more friendly zombies emerged from the forest.

"Thank you for helping our friend," said Zim's friend Zara. "Would you like to play padel with us?"

Lily's grandmother appeared, smiling. "I've been watching, dear. Sometimes the most wonderful friends come from the most unexpected places."

They all played padel until sunset, laughing and splashing through puddles of water. From that day on, Lily learned that kindness and friendship could turn any scary situation into a magical adventure.

And every Saturday, the zombies visited with fresh flowers, while Lily's garden grew even more beautiful with friendship in every corner.
