The Zombie's Magic Pool Party

Lily pushed open the creaky gate to her grandmother's backyard. In the center stood the old swimming pool, covered with leaves. But today, something magical happened.

As Lily approached, a little green zombie popped up from behind a bush! But this wasn't a scary zombie—this was Zippy, a friendly zombie who loved to dance. "Hi!" Zippy waved, his stitched smile wide. "Want to see something special?"

He sprinkled glowing blue vitamin dust over the pool. The water began to sparkle like a thousand tiny stars.

Out of the bushes came Mittens the cat and Buster the dog. Usually they chased each other, but today the magic vitamin dust made everyone feel friendly and brave.

"Let's have a party!" cheered Zippy. He did a silly zombie dance, wiggling his arms and shaking his green feet. Mittens and Buster couldn't help but join in, spinning around the enchanted pool.

Grandma came outside with cookies. "I haven't seen this pool sparkle since I was your age," she said with a wink. "The magic vitamin brings out the best in everyone."

Lily realized something important: sometimes things that seem different—even a little zombie—can bring out the best in her friends. And even cats and dogs who usually fight can become best friends with a little magic.

That afternoon, they all splashed in the glowing pool, danced silly zombie dances, and shared cookies under the rainbow that appeared above them.

As the sun set, Zippy whispered, "See you tomorrow for another adventure!" Lily smiled, knowing friendship was the greatest magic of all.
