The Zombie's Magic Hair
Lily loved exploring the old amusement park behind her house. One day, she found a rusty cable car stuck halfway up a hill. Inside sat a green-skinned boy with messy purple hair sticking straight up like fireworks.
"Are you a zombie?" Lily asked, eyes wide.
The boy nodded sadly. "I'm Zeb. Everyone runs away because I'm a zombie. But I'm not scary! I just want a friend."
Lily smiled. "I'm Lily. Want to see something cool?" She pulled a sparkly ribbon from her pocket. "My hair gets tangled all the time. But this ribbon helps!"
Zeb's eyes lit up. "Could you help me? My hair has magic powers, but it's so knotted I can't use them!"
Lily gently combed Zeb's purple hair with her fingers. As each knot disappeared, glowing blue sparks floated out. "Whoa! Your hair IS magical!"
Suddenly, the cable car lurched. The cable snapped, and the car began sliding down the steep hill!
"Hold on!" Zeb shouted. His magical hair shot upward like purple ropes, grabbing a tree branch. The cable car stopped just inches from the ground.
"You saved us!" Lily cheered. "Your hair is amazing!"
Zeb beamed. "Being a zombie isn't so bad when you have friends who see what makes you special."
From that day on, Lily and Zeb had adventures every day. Zeb used his magical hair to rescue kittens, fix broken playground swings, and create beautiful light shows that made all the children cheer.
And when anyone asked about the zombie with magic hair, Lily would say, "Don't judge someone by how they look. The best friends come in the most surprising packages!"
The magical cable car still sits on that hill, a reminder that friendship and kindness can fix anything—even broken cables and lonely hearts.
