The Zombie's Magic Garden

Lily loved her backyard garden more than anything. She planted red tomatoes, orange carrots, and bright yellow sunflowers that reached for the sky. But her favorite spot was the small pond, where her pet goldfish Sparkle swam in circles all day long.

One sunny morning, Lily noticed something strange. A little figure shuffled slowly near her spinach plants. It had greenish skin, messy hair, and moved like it was walking through thick mud.

"Hello?" Lily called out, clutching her watering can tightly.

The figure turned around slowly. It was a zombie! But this zombie didn't look scary at all. It looked sad and confused, with droopy eyes and a frown.

"I'm Zed," the zombie said in a slow, sleepy voice. "I used to be a regular kid like you. But I stopped eating fresh vegetables and only ate junk food. Now I'm stuck like this."

Lily felt bad for Zed. "Maybe something from my garden can help!"

Zed's eyes widened when he saw the big, green spinach leaves. "Spinach! That's exactly what I need! Fresh, magical spinach from a friend's garden!"

Lily picked the biggest, freshest spinach leaves she could find. As soon as Zed ate them, something amazing happened. His green skin turned rosy pink, his eyes brightened like stars, and he stood up straight and tall.

"Thank you, Lily!" Zed said happily, doing a little jump. "Fresh vegetables grown with love make everyone feel better!"

Sparkle splashed joyfully in the pond, creating tiny rainbows in the water.

From that day on, Zed visited Lily's garden every week. They planted vegetables together, took care of Sparkle, and told stories under the sunflowers. Lily learned that sometimes things that seem scary just need a little help, kindness, and some fresh spinach to become wonderful friends.
