The Zombie's Magic Garden

Lily loved exploring behind her grandmother's house, especially the old fence covered in vines. One afternoon, she discovered a hidden gate she'd never noticed before. Curious, she pushed it open.

Inside, the most beautiful garden stretched before her. A towering palm tree swayed in the breeze, its leaves whispering secrets. But what amazed Lily most was the gardener—a man with green-tinged skin who moved slowly, like he was dancing in slow motion.

"Hello there," he said, his voice kind and warm. "I'm Zed. They call me a zombie because I move so slowly, but really, I'm just a magical gardener."

Lily wasn't scared. Zed had the friendliest eyes she'd ever seen.

"Would you like to try my special spinach?" Zed asked, pointing to vibrant green leaves. "One bite gives you the energy to climb to the top of that palm tree and see the whole world."

Lily tried a leaf and suddenly felt light as a feather. She scampered up the palm tree, laughing as she discovered a nest of baby birds.

"And this," Zed said, handing her a bright orange papaya, "is a sunshine fruit. It makes you feel happy inside."

The papaya was the sweetest thing Lily had ever tasted. She felt warmth spread through her whole body.

"Why does your garden grow such magical plants?" Lily asked.

Zed smiled. "Because I'm not in a hurry. Magic needs patience. Most people rush through life, but I take my time. That's why the plants share their secrets with me."

Lily understood then. Being different wasn't bad—it was special. Zed's slow way of living made magic possible.

"Come back anytime," Zed said as Lily headed home. "But remember, the magic works best when you're not in a hurry either."

That night, Lily dreamed of papaya sunshine and spinach-powered adventures. She'd discovered that sometimes the most wonderful things come from the most unexpected friends—and that taking things slowly could be the fastest way to find magic.
