The Zombie's Golden Wish
In the heart of the Magical Forest, where trees whispered secrets and flowers sang lullabies, lived a zombie named Zed. But Zed wasn't like the zombies in scary stories. His green skin was soft like moss, his eyes sparkled like emeralds, and his only dream was to find a friend.
One sunny morning, Zed discovered something extraordinary tucked beneath a swaying palm tree — a bright orange that glowed with inner light. As he picked it up, the orange spoke! "I am a Wish Fruit," it chimed. "One bite, and your heart's desire shall come true."
Zed's eyes widened. "I wish for a friend who will never leave me."
He took a bite, and golden sparkles swirled around him. They danced through the air and landed in a nearby pond, transforming into the most beautiful goldfish anyone had ever seen. Her scales shimmered like rainbows, and she could swim through air as easily as water.
"I'm Coral!" the goldfish bubbled happily. "And I'm your friend forever!"
But their happiness was interrupted when a frantic girl named Maya burst through the trees. "Has anyone seen my iPhone?" she cried. "My grandmother's photo is on it, and it's the only picture I have of her!"
Zed's heart went out to Maya. He knew what it meant to lose something precious. "We'll help you find it!" he promised.
The three friends searched everywhere. Coral swam through bushes, Zed peeked under rocks, and Maya looked in every hollow tree. Finally, Coral spotted something glinting from the highest branch of the palm tree.
"It's up there!" Coral exclaimed.
Zed stretched his lanky arms, but he couldn't reach it. Maya couldn't climb that high. Then they had an idea — Zed would lift Maya, and Coral would guide them!
Together, they retrieved the precious iPhone. Maya was so grateful she invited her new friends to her house for orange juice and cookies.
That day, Zed learned that the best wishes aren't the ones we make for ourselves, but the friends we make along the way. And in the Magical Forest, everyone knew that the kindest zombie, the bravest girl, and the most magical goldfish were the best of friends, always ready for their next adventure together.
