The Zombie's Glowing Discovery
Lily loved exploring her grandmother's dusty attic. One rainy Saturday, she found something strange tucked inside an old wooden box. It was an ancient iPhone with a cracked screen and a mysterious curly cable beside it.
"What's this?" Lily wondered, her fingers brushing against the smooth glass. Suddenly, the iPhone flickered to life, glowing with purple light. When she plugged in the cable, sparkles swirled around her like tiny stars!
From the purple glow emerged a girl about Lily's age. But this girl had pale green skin and wild, tangled purple hair that stood up like she'd stuck her finger in an electrical socket.
"Hello!" the girl said, waving excitedly. "I'm Zara! I've been trapped inside that phone for fifty years!"
Lily gasped. "Are you... a zombie?"
Zara laughed. "I suppose I look like one! But I'm just a girl whose magic went wrong. I was trying to cast a friendship spell, but I accidentally transported myself into my father's invention instead."
Lily's eyes widened. "That's amazing! Can you get out?"
"Only with a friend's help," Zara said softly. "The spell requires true friendship to break."
Lily didn't hesitate. "I'll be your friend!"
She reached through the sparkles and took Zara's hand. Together, they pulled, and suddenly Zara tumbled out of the iPhone, her purple hair flowing behind her like a rainbow ribbon.
"Thank you!" Zara cried, hugging Lily. "You saved me!"
"That's what friends do," Lily smiled. And as the rain stopped outside and a rainbow appeared, two new friends sat in the attic, sharing stories and discovering that the best magic of all wasn't spells or iPhones — it was friendship found in the most unexpected places.
