The Zombie's Garden of Wishes
On a magical island where the sun always shone, there lived a zombie named Zephyr. But don't worry—Zephyr wasn't scary at all! He was the friendliest gardener in all the seven seas.
Zephyr had wild orange hair that looked like palm fronds dancing in the wind. He spent his days taking care of the most special trees in the world—wishing palms, with bark that sparkled like tiny stars.
Every morning, his best friend Barnaby—a gentle bull with the softest nose—would help Zephyr water the trees. Barnaby wasn't like other bulls. He didn't want to chase cowboys or snort and stamp. He just wanted to help grow magic.
You see, the wishing palms grew special oranges. Each orange held a wish inside, glowing like little lanterns. When a child with a pure heart found one, their wish would come true!
One day, a sad girl named Mia arrived at the island. She had lost her favorite teddy bear in the ocean, and her heart was broken.
Zephyr smiled his kind smile and led her to the tallest palm tree. There hung the biggest, brightest orange anyone had ever seen. "This one's for you," he said softly.
Mia closed her eyes and whispered her wish. The orange glowed brighter than the sun, then burst into a thousand sparkles. When Mia opened her eyes, her teddy bear was right there, dry and fluffy, as if the ocean had never touched it.
"Thank you, Zephyr!" Mia hugged the zombie, and he hugged her back with his leafy arms.
That night, under the starry sky, Zephyr, Barnaby the bull, and Mia ate magical oranges together. And they all learned the most important lesson of all: the strongest magic comes from friendship and kindness.
