The Zombie's Friendship Vitamin

Lily discovered the zombie in her grandmother's attic, tucked inside an old wooden chest. But this wasn't a scary zombie. It was a small, green stuffed toy with bright purple eyes and a friendly grin, wearing a tiny orange cape.

"Hello there," Lily whispered, and to her surprise, the zombie blinked.

"I'm Zimby," the toy said in a squeaky voice. "I've been sleeping for fifty years. I forgot how to make friends."

Lily's grandmother explained that Zimby was magical, but he'd lost his friendship spark—the invisible **vitamin** that helps creatures connect with others. Without it, Zimby had been frozen in time.

"I know how to help!" Lily said. She pulled her father's old **cable** from her backpack—the one he used to fix things. "This connects things. Maybe it can connect hearts too!"

That night, under the glow of the moon, Lily wrapped the magical cable around her wrist and Zimby's hand. She closed her eyes and imagined all the things that made a good **friend**: sharing, listening, laughing, helping, and being kind.

The cable began to glow with warm **orange** light. It pulsed like a heartbeat, transferring Lily's friendship thoughts directly into Zimby's stuffed heart.

Suddenly, Zimby's purple eyes sparkled brighter than ever. He felt something warm bubbling inside him—the friendship vitamin he'd been missing all along.

"I remember now!" Zimby cheered. "Being a friend means being there for others. And Lily, you've already been my friend by helping me!"

From that day on, Zimby and Lily had wonderful adventures. They learned that the most powerful magic isn't found in spells or potions, but in the simple act of caring for others. And sometimes, the best friends come in the most unexpected packages—even little green zombies with orange capes.

Lily kept the magical cable safe, knowing that friendship, once given, grows stronger every day. That was the greatest vitamin of all.
