The Zombie's First Friends
Once upon a time, in a forest where the stars twinkled like tiny diamonds, there lived a clever little **fox** named Rusty. His fur was the color of autumn leaves, and his tail was always twitching with curiosity.
One warm summer evening, Rusty trotted down to the sparkling **water** of Moonlight Creek. The water sang sweet songs as it danced over smooth stones. Fireflies floated above like tiny lanterns, and the air smelled of wild berries and pine needles.
"Hello, Rusty!" meowed a soft voice. It was Whisper, a silky black **cat** with eyes like polished emeralds. She sat on a mossy rock, watching her reflection ripple in the water.
"Whisper!" Rusty bounced happily. "Look! The water is glowing tonight!"
Suddenly, something shuffled from behind an old oak tree. It was a little **zombie** - but not the scary kind from stories! This was Zora, a tiny zombie girl with patchy blue skin and stitches made of sparkly thread. She wore a crown of wilted flowers that somehow seemed to bloom just a little when she smiled.
"C-can I play?" Zora asked shyly. "Everyone runs away when they see me."
Whisper's ears perked up. "Why would they run? You have the prettiest stitches!"
Rusty nodded enthusiastically. "And look! Your flowers are waking up!"
Zora's eyes widened. Nobody had ever been nice to her before. The three new friends spent the whole night playing. They chased fireflies, splashed in the magical water, and Zora showed them how her flower crown could make even the wilted flowers bloom again.
"It's magic," Zora explained. "Being a zombie isn't scary - it means I can help things that have given up find new life!"
When morning came, the three friends promised to meet every night by the water. And they did, creating the most unusual but wonderful friendship the forest had ever seen.
Moral: Never judge someone by how they look - true friends see the magic inside your heart.
