The Zombie's Bad Hair Day
Emma and Leo were exploring Egypt with their grandparents when they discovered something amazing—a golden pyramid hidden behind sand dunes! The sun glinted off its shiny sides.
"Let's look inside!" Emma whispered.
Inside the pyramid, it wasn't dark at all. Crystals in the walls glowed with soft rainbow light. In the center of a big room sat someone green and friendly-looking.
"Hello!" said the green zombie. "I'm Zippy!" Zippy had purple circles under his eyes and the messiest hair Emma and Leo had ever seen. It stuck up everywhere like green spaghetti!
"What's wrong?" Leo asked kindly.
Zippy sighed. "I guard the ancient treasures of this pyramid, but my hair is so wild and tangled that I can't see properly. I've tried everything, but nothing works!"
Emma gasped. "I have an idea!" She pulled something from her backpack. "My mom gave me these magic vitamins from the village market. They're supposed to be good for hair!"
She handed Zippy a shiny orange vitamin. He ate it carefully.
POOF! Rainbow sparkles filled the pyramid! Zippy's messy hair smoothed out and became soft and shiny, bouncing gently like green springs.
"Thank you!" Zippy cheered. "For your kindness, I want to show you something special."
He pressed a hidden button, and the pyramid's ceiling opened to reveal a beautiful starry sky. Together, they watched shooting stars streak across the darkness.
"That was the best adventure ever!" Leo said.
Emma smiled. "Sometimes the best treasures aren't gold or jewels—they're the friends we make along the way."
And that's how Emma and Leo learned that helping others, even zombie pyramid guards with bad hair days, is the greatest adventure of all.
