The Zombie Pool Party

zombiewaterpoolpadel

Lily and Max loved playing padel in the backyard. Every Saturday afternoon, they'd grab their racquets and hit the ball back and forth, laughing when it bounced off the fence or landed in the flowers. But this Saturday was different. Very different.

Aunt Maria had filled up the inflatable pool for summer, and the water sparkled like diamonds under the golden sun. But something strange happened when Max jumped in with his racquet still in hand.

"Look at me!" Max shouted, splashing around. "I'm a swimming zombie!" He made funny groaning noises and let his arms float like seaweed.

Lily giggled. "You're not scary, you're silly!" She hopped in too, making zombie faces of her own.

Then, the most amazing thing happened. The water began to glow with soft blue light. Tiny bubbles rose up, forming shapes. Fish made of pure light swam around them. A whale made of sparkles surfaced and blew shimmering bubble rings.

"Is this real?" Lily whispered, eyes wide.

A voice echoed from nowhere and everywhere: "The Magic Pool appears only when friends play together with pure joy in their hearts."

Max and Lily spent the afternoon playing padel with magical fish, racing light-crabs, and learning that the best zombie isn't scary at all—it's a friend who knows how to make you laugh until your belly hurts.

When the sun began to set, the magical creatures waved goodbye and disappeared into sparkles. The pool looked ordinary again, but Lily and Max knew better.

"Same time next week?" Max asked, drying off.

"Definitely," Lily smiled. "But maybe we'll be magical mermaids instead of zombies!"

They high-fived, already counting down the days until their next adventure in the not-so-ordinary pool.
