The Zombie in the Papaya Tree
Mia loved spending time at her grandmother's house, especially in the garden where the papaya tree grew tall and green. One sunny afternoon, she was sitting under the tree, playing games on her iPhone when she noticed something strange. The largest papaya was glowing!
Curious, Mia reached out to touch the glowing fruit. suddenly, the papaya split open, and out popped a small green boy - a zombie! But he wasn't scary like the ones in movies. He had big friendly eyes and a crooked smile.
"Hello!" said the zombie. "My name is Z, and I've been trapped in that papaya for a hundred years! I was cursed by a lonely wizard who had no friends."
Mia wasn't afraid at all. "I'm Mia," she said warmly. "Do you need a friend?"
Z's eyes lit up. "Yes! And I need to break this curse. The only way is to find three true friends in one day. Will you be my first friend?"
"Of course!" Mia exclaimed. "But how will we find two more friends before sunset?"
Mia had an idea. She used her iPhone to call her grandmother and her best friend Leo. When they arrived and heard Z's story, they both agreed to be his friends too. Z started to glow with happiness as the curse began to lift.
"Thank you!" Z said, his smile growing wider. "Friendship is the most powerful magic in the world."
As the sun set, Z transformed back into his true form - a magical pixie who had been trapped for a century. He gave Mia, her grandmother, and Leo each a magical papaya seed that would grow into friendship trees wherever they were planted.
Mia learned that day that friends come in all shapes and sizes, even zombies in papayas! And sometimes, the most magical adventures start when you reach out your hand in friendship.
