The Zombie Goldfish's Magical Dance
Lily loved her orange goldfish, Sparkle, more than anything. But one morning, something strange happened. Sparkle floated at the top of her bowl, not moving at all.
"Oh no!" Lily cried. "Sparkle looks like a little zombie fish!"
Her grandma chuckled. "Sometimes, little one, things aren't what they seem."
That night, Lily heard a splash. She tiptoed to Sparkle's bowl - and gasped! Sparkle was swimming happily, but something was different. Sparkle wasn't just swimming. She was DANCING! The tiny goldfish swirled and twirled, creating glowing bubbles that filled the room with rainbow light.
Then the impossible happened. Sparkle LEAPT out of her bowl and started RUNNING across Lily's desk on two tiny fins!
"You're magic!" Lily whispered, her eyes wide with wonder.
Sparkle nodded and blew a bubble that popped into words: "I needed you to believe in magic to wake up my powers. Now come with me!"
The goldfish grew until she was the size of a dolphin. Lily climbed onto Sparkle's back, and together they soared out the window, swimming through the starry sky as if it were an ocean of dreams.
They visited the Cloud Kingdom, where fairy goldfish taught fish everywhere to dance. They met stars that shimmered like scales. They even helped a lost moonbeam find its way home.
When morning came, Sparkle returned to her bowl, looking like an ordinary fish again. But now, whenever Lily felt lonely, she would see Sparkle do a tiny twirl, and she knew - magic was real, and friendship was the greatest magic of all.
Lily learned that day: even the smallest creatures can have the biggest adventures, if you just believe.
