The Zombie Goldfish of Wonder Pyramid

Lily peered into her fishbowl. Her beloved goldfish, Bubbles, wasn't moving. Her eyes filled with tears.

"He's gone," she whispered to her best friend Maya, who had come over to play. Maya hugged Lily tight.

"Wait!" Maya's eyes sparkled. "My grandmother told me about the Wonder Pyramid in the park. It's magical!"

The girls grabbed their backpacks and rushed to the old stone pyramid tucked behind the playground. It had mysterious symbols that glowed when the moon shone.

Lily gently placed Bubbles in her special traveling bowl on the pyramid's top. She pulled out her mom's old iPhone and snapped a picture. "For memories," she said sadly.

Suddenly, the pyramid began to hum. Golden light swirled around Bubbles!

"Look!" Maya cried.

Bubbles floated in the air, glowing like a tiny star. When the light faded, he swam back down—but he was different now. He shimmered with rainbow colors and could swim in BOTH directions!

"It's a zombie goldfish!" Lily laughed. "Not a scary one—a magical one that came back!"

Bubbles did a happy flip. He could now jump out of his bowl and float beside them like a tiny, sparkling balloon fish. The girls spent all afternoon playing with their magical friend.

"That night, Lily's mom looked at the iPhone photo. "Honey, Bubbles was just sleeping! Goldfish do that sometimes."

Lily smiled, watching her rainbow fish dance in the air. "I know, Mom. But the magic made him even more special."

Every day after school, Lily and Maya visited the Wonder Pyramid. They learned that some magic is real—and sometimes, the best adventures happen when you believe in impossible things with your best friend by your side.
