The Zombie Garden's Midnight Magic
Lily loved visiting her grandmother's garden at midnight. That's when the magic happened.
One Tuesday, she discovered something strange. A dusty old **cable** snaked through the rosebushes, glowing with soft blue light. When Lily tugged it, the ground rumbled.
"Hello there!" squeaked a voice.
Lily jumped. A small green figure emerged from the dirt. It was a plant—a little **zombie** plant with wobbly leaves and a cheerful grin.
"I'm Zombi!" the plant said. "I was sleeping for fifty years!"
"You're a zombie?" Lily asked, eyes wide.
"A *friendly* zombie!" Zombi corrected. "I come back to life when magic is near!"
Zombi explained that the magic cable connected the garden to a special dimension called WonderWorld, where vegetables had superpowers. But someone had stolen the Golden Key, and now WonderWorld was fading.
"Will you help?" Zombi asked.
Lily nodded. Together, they grabbed handfuls of magical **spinach** from grandmother's patch. Each leaf sparkled like a tiny star.
"Eat this!" Zombi said. "It gives you special abilities!"
Lily ate a spinach leaf. Suddenly, she felt light as a feather. She started **running**—but her feet didn't touch the ground! She zoomed over flowers and bushes, trailing sparkles.
"Follow the cable!" Zombi cheered, bouncing beside her.
They reached the end of the glowing cable, where a grumpy gnome sat guarding the Golden Key.
"None shall pass!" the gnome announced.
But Lily had an idea. She offered the gnome some magical spinach. His eyes widened as he munched.
"Delicious!" The gnome's frown turned upside down. "You may have the key!"
With the key returned, WonderWorld bloomed with color. Flowers sang, vegetables danced, and Zombi grew bigger and stronger.
"Thank you, Lily!" Zombi said. "True magic isn't just power—it's kindness and friendship!"
Lily learned that night that even the smallest things—a zombie plant, a glowing cable, some spinach—could create the biggest adventures. And that being kind was the strongest magic of all.
