The Zombie Cloud's Magical Gift

Maya stood on the beach, her favorite rainbow **hat** pulled low over her eyes. The sky turned dark gray, and ocean waves crashed against the shore. A storm was coming.

"Look at that cloud!" her friend Javier shouted, pointing up.

Maya looked up and gasped. Above them, a huge gray cloud was shaped exactly like a person walking — a **zombie** cloud! It lumbered slowly across the sky, its wispy arms reaching out.

"It's not scary," Maya whispered. "It looks lonely."

Suddenly, **lightning** flashed — not jagged and sharp, but golden and swirling, like ribbon candy. The lightning struck the zombie cloud, and something magical happened. The cloud began to sparkle with rainbow colors.

A single **palm** tree on the beach started glowing too. Its coconuts turned into little golden orbs that floated upward, joining the sparkling cloud.

"The cloud is thirsty!" Maya realized. She grabbed her bucket and ran to the ocean. Filling it with **water**, she splashed it toward the shore, right where the palm tree stood.

The water didn't fall back. It rose up in a shimmering stream, connecting with the palm tree's glowing fronds. The tree drank eagerly, its leaves turning from green to brilliant silver.

Suddenly, the zombie cloud descended. It wasn't a cloud at all — it was a Spirit of Rain that had lost its way! The lightning had been trying to guide it home.

"Thank you," the Spirit's voice sounded like gentle rain. "I was stuck between worlds. Your kindness woke me up."

The Spirit touched Maya's hat with a misty finger. Rainbow sparkles danced across the fabric.

"This hat will always keep you dry," the Spirit promised. "And when you see rain, remember: even clouds that look scary might just need a friend."

The Spirit transformed into a beautiful mist that watered all the palm trees along the beach. New flowers bloomed instantly — purple, orange, and pink.

Maya and Javier watched in wonder as the storm passed, leaving behind a rainbow that stretched from one end of the beach to the other.

"I'm never going to be afraid of storm clouds again," Maya said, adjusting her magical hat.

"Me neither," Javier agreed. "But next time, let's bring two buckets!"

And somewhere high above, the Spirit of Rain smiled, sending down the gentlest shower anyone had ever felt.
