The Zombie Bull's Golden Friend
In a cozy toy shop, there lived a toy bull named Barnaby. He had golden horns and a bright red nose, but nobody ever bought him. He sat on the highest shelf, watching children pick other toys.
One night, the shop's pet goldfish - a tiny fish named Glimmer - swam to the edge of her bowl. She was a magical goldfish who could grant one special wish each year.
"Barnaby," Glimmer whispered, her scales shimmering like tiny stars. "I can make you real! You'll run in fields and meet real friends!"
Barnaby's plastic heart leaped. "Yes, please!"
But Glimmer was so excited that she sneezed - *bloop!* - right in the middle of the magic spell. Instead of a real bull, Barnaby became a *zombie* bull! His left leg fell off. His nose kept falling too. He moved slowly and said things like, "Thaaank yooou" in a funny voice.
Barnaby felt terrible. Now he wasn't even a proper toy anymore.
The next morning, a little girl named Lily spotted him. "Oh no!" she cried. "This poor bull needs help!" She bought him with her piggy bank money and took him home.
Lily didn't mind that Barnaby was different. She sewed his leg back on with rainbow thread. She glued his nose with glitter glue. When he said "Thaaank yooou," she laughed and said, "You're welcome!"
Barnaby realized something wonderful: Being a zombie bull meant he was extra special. He was unique. And he had the best friend in the world.
That night, Glimmer appeared at Lily's window. "I'm sorry the spell went wrong!" she said.
"It didn't go wrong," Barnaby replied. "It went exactly right."
And from that day on, the zombie bull, the magical goldfish, and the little girl had the most wonderful adventures - proving that the best friends often come in the most unexpected packages.
