The Zombie Bear's Tea Party

Lily loved playing in her grandmother's garden, especially with her fluffy golden dog, Sunny. Every afternoon, they would have tea parties under the old oak tree. But today was special.

"Grandma told me about the magic garden spell!" Lily whispered to Sunny, sprinkling glitter on her favorite stuffed bear. "If we believe hard enough, toys come alive for one hour!"

Sunny barked and wagged his tail as Lily closed her eyes tight. When she opened them, Bear blinked his shiny button eyes and stretched his fuzzy arms.

"Hello, friend!" Bear said in a warm rumbly voice.

Lily gasped with joy. She and Sunny and Bear played hide-and-seek among the flowers. Bear taught them the Zombie Dance — a silly wiggling dance where your arms go floppy and your knees go knocky-knocky. It was the funniest thing Sunny had ever seen!

But then they noticed something sad. The garden's moonflowers looked droopy and gray, even though it was sunny.

"They need the Zombie Song!" Bear said. "My grandmother taught me — it wakes up sleeping flowers!"

Bear started humming a tune that sounded like raindrops and sunshine mixed together. Lily and Sunny joined in, dancing the Zombie Dance around the flowers while singing.

Something magical happened. The moonflowers lifted their heads, glowing with soft silver light. They weren't zombies — they were just sleepy flowers that needed a special song to wake up!

"Thank you!" whispered the flowers. "You're the best friends we've ever had!"

As the hour ended, Bear grew still again, but his smile stayed on his fuzzy face. Lily hugged him tight.

"You'll always be my best friend," she promised, "whether you're awake or dreaming."

That night, Lily learned something wonderful: magic isn't just about making things move. It's about believing in your friends, dancing when others are sad, and sharing joy with everyone around you.

Sunny curled up beside Lily and Bear, all three friends dreaming of moonlight dances and songs that wake up sleeping flowers. And in the garden, the moonflowers glowed silver all night long, waiting for their friends to return.
