The Water-Spilling Pup

Leo loved baseball more than anything. Every day after school, he grabbed his glove and ran to the park, his messy hair bouncing in the wind. But today, something magical happened.

Leo's golden retriever, Splash, trotted beside him as usual. But when they reached the dried-up baseball field, Splash did something extraordinary. He nudged Leo's hand with his wet nose, and suddenly crystal-clear water began flowing from his fur like tiny rivers!

"Splash!" Leo gasped. "How are you doing that?"

The happy dog wagged his tail, and more water spilled out. Within minutes, the dusty dirt turned into perfect mud perfect for sliding into home plate. The grass perked up green and tall.

Just then, other kids arrived for the big game. Their eyes went wide when they saw the miracle.

"Your dog made a baseball field appear!" shouted Maya, clutching her glove.

Leo looked at Splash, who barked proudly. The water wasn't just for fun — it was for everyone.

They played the most wonderful baseball game ever. Splash cheered from the dugout, occasionally shaking his wet fur to cool down hot players. Leo hit a home run that splashed into the magical puddles, and everyone laughed.

As the sun set, the kids hugged Splash and thanked Leo for sharing.

"Friends are like water," Leo's grandmother always said. "They make everything grow."

That night, Leo fell asleep dreaming of baseball, his hair still messy from the game, while Splash curled up at the foot of his bed, sometimes still dripping tiny drops of magic water onto the rug.
