The Water Pyramid
Lily loved the beach, but she'd never seen anything like this. As the sun began to set, a magnificent pyramid rose from the ocean waves. It wasn't made of stone like the ones in books. This pyramid was made entirely of water, yet it held its shape like magic. Crystal-clear water cascaded down its sides, creating rainbows in the dying light.
The ten-year-old girl waded into the warm ocean, her heart pounding with excitement. As she approached, the water pyramid shimmered and glowed. Something amazing appeared floating beside it - a padel court, complete with rackets and a ball, all hovering above the surface as if held by invisible hands.
"Play with me!" a voice bubbled up from the water. Out popped Marina, a friendly water sprite with silver hair and eyes that sparkled like the ocean depths. "The magic only works when friends play together."
Lily grabbed a padel racket and climbed onto the floating court. Marina took the other side. The moment Lily hit the ball, something extraordinary happened. Wherever the ball landed, water droplets transformed into tiny dancing stars. Each hit created ripples that spread across the ocean surface, forming beautiful patterns of light.
"The water pyramid appears when children believe in magic and friendship," Marina explained between volleys. "Long ago, lonely children built it with their wishes. They wanted a place where imagination came alive."
They played until stars filled the sky. With every hit, the pyramid glowed brighter. Lily forgot about being shy at school or not knowing how to make friends easily. Here, she was brave and magical.
"Tomorrow night?" Marina asked as the court began to fade.
"Every night!" Lily promised.
As the water pyramid sank back beneath the waves, Lily understood something important. Real magic wasn't just about enchanted pyramids or floating courts. True magic was friendship - the kind that made you feel brave and special. And the best part? Making friends started with simply being brave enough to say, "Play with me."
