The Water Bull's Secret

Lila had the most extraordinary **hair** in her village. It wasn't just curly—it changed color with her feelings! When she was happy, it shimmered like sunshine yellow. When she was curious, it turned ocean blue.

One hot summer afternoon, while exploring near the old pond, Lila's hair turned a sparkly purple. She felt something magical was near. Peeking through the tall reeds, she gasped. A magnificent creature stood at the water's edge—a great, gentle **bull** with fur that sparkled like morning dew on grass.

But this was no ordinary bull. His hooves made soft splishing sounds, and his eyes held the wisdom of ancient stars. Unlike the farm bulls Lila knew, this one seemed to be waiting... for her.

"Hello," Lila whispered, approaching slowly.

The bull nodded his massive head and lowered himself until his belly touched the grass. In his eyes, Lila saw images—crystal caves, rainbow fish, and cities made of coral beneath the water's surface. He wanted her to join him!

Lila had learned **swimming** last summer, but never with a bull! The bull stepped into the pond, and to Lila's amazement, he didn't sink. Instead, he began to float gracefully, like a boat made of dreams.

"Come," his eyes seemed to say.

Lila climbed onto his broad back, clutching his warm, smooth fur. Together they glided deeper into the pond, which was somehow much bigger than it looked from outside. Her purple hair streamed behind her like a silky ribbon as they discovered an underwater kingdom.

Fish with scales like precious jewels greeted them. Turtles the size of dinner plates showed them secret gardens of swaying seaweed. The bull, whose name was Barnaby, had been guarding this magical place for hundreds of years.

All afternoon they explored, until Lila's fingers wrinkled like raisins. Barnaby carried her back to shore, and she knew this would be their secret friendship.

"Thank you," she whispered, pressing her cheek against his soft muzzle.

From that day on, whenever Lila visited the pond, her hair would turn that special purple. And somewhere deep beneath the water, Barnaby would appear, ready for another adventure. Lila learned that the most wonderful friends sometimes come in the most unexpected packages—and that magic exists for those brave enough to believe.
