The Water Bull's Secret

Lily loved the old wooden padel her grandfather gave her. It was smooth from years of use, and he'd told her it held magic. She didn't believe him until the day she followed the path to the hidden pool behind their farm.

The water shimmered like liquid diamonds in the morning sun. Lily trailed her padel through the cool surface, watching ripples spread like whispers. Suddenly, bubbles rose from the depths. A nose appeared, then two curved horns. A bull! But not an ordinary bull — this one could swim!

"I'm Ferdinand," the bull said, shaking water from his chocolate-brown fur. "I'm the Water Bull, guardian of this magical pool."

Lily's eyes widened. "You can talk?"

"Magic exists if you believe," Ferdinand replied. "Speaking of believing... could you help me? The Moon Flowers only bloom tonight, and I need to reach them before midnight. But I can't climb the waterfall alone."

Lily gripped her padel tight. "What do I need to do?"

"The pool connects to other waters through secret currents," the bull explained. "But I need someone to guide us. Use your grandfather's padel to steer. I'll provide the power."

Lily climbed onto Ferdinand's back, holding the wooden padel like a rudder. The bull began swimming, first slowly, then faster and faster. They were running through the water like a living boat, dodging rocks and leaping over tiny waterfalls.

The journey took them through glowing caves where fish cast rainbow shadows, past meadows where the grass sang soft songs, and finally to a secret grotto behind a thundering waterfall.

There, Moon Flowers bloomed like silver stars, their petals glowing with soft light. Ferdinand filled a special pouch with their petals, which could heal any sickness.

"Thank you, Lily," the bull said warmly. "You're brave and kind. Your grandfather knew you'd be the one to help."

They returned home under starlight, and Lily understood: magic isn't just about believing in impossible things. It's about friendship, courage, and helping others. From that day on, she visited Ferdinand often, running to the pool whenever the Water Bull needed a brave friend with a magical padel.
