The Vitamin That Could Fly
Timmy was a boy who hated taking his daily vitamin. Every morning, his mom would hand him the orange tablet, and every morning, he would make a face.
But one rainy afternoon, as Timmy stood by his backyard pool holding the hated vitamin, something magical happened. A bolt of lightning flashed across the dark sky, and Timmy jumped - dropping the vitamin right into the water!
He watched, amazed, as the vitamin began to glow. It grew larger and larger until tiny wings sprouted from its sides. Then it flew up and landed right in Timmy's wet hair!
"Hello!" said the tiniest, squeakiest voice. "I'm Pip, the Vitamin Sprite!"
Timmy couldn't believe his ears. "You can talk?"
"All vitamins can talk when lightning strikes water!" Pip chirped, fluttering her glowing wings. "I was supposed to fly up to the Cloud Kingdom and deliver magic to all the sick raindrops. But my wings got soaked in the pool water!"
Pip looked so sad that Timmy's heart ached. He remembered how his mom always said, "Help others when they need it."
"I have an idea!" Timmy ran inside and came back with his hair dryer. Gently, he warmed Pip's wings until they were dry and strong again.
"Thank you!" Pip zoomed into the rainy sky, trailing sparkles that fell like magical dust. Every drop of water touched by the sparkles transformed into a tiny glowing vitamin, floating down to help children everywhere grow strong and healthy.
The next morning, Timmy's mom handed him his vitamin with a worried look. But Timmy smiled and swallowed it without complaining - because now he knew that even the smallest things can hold the biggest magic, especially when you have a friend who needs you.
