The Vitamin Spy's Lightning Mission
Leo pressed his finger to his lips. 'I'm a spy,' he whispered to his dog, Barnaby. It was Saturday morning, and the neighborhood padel court had been mysteriously quiet all week.
Leo crept toward the court, his magnifying glass ready. But instead of players, he found something strange—people shuffling slowly, arms stretched forward, groaning like 'braaains.' They looked like zombies!
'What happened to everyone?' Leo gasped. Mrs. Jenkins from the bakery usually moved fast as lightning. Now she could barely walk.
A sudden flash illuminated the sky—CRACK! Lightning struck the old oak tree, and something shiny fell from its branches. A glowing bottle!
Leo investigated. The label read: SUPER VITAMIN SERUM—For when you've forgotten your vitamins and turned into a slow-moving zombie.
'That's it!' Leo realized. 'Everyone forgot to take their vitamins!'
The spy in him sprang into action. Leo mixed the serum with orange juice at the padel court's snack bar. He served it to all the zombie-people, one by one.
Mrs. Jenkins drank. Her eyes brightened. She did a little jump!
'My energy!' she cheered.
Soon the whole neighborhood was dancing and playing padel again, moving faster than ever. No more zombies.
'You're quite the detective,' Mrs. Jenkins told Leo, handing him a vitamin gummy shaped like a lightning bolt. 'From now on, we'll never forget our vitamins!'
Leo smiled, popping the gummy into his mouth. Being a spy was exciting, but being a friend who helped others stay healthy was the best adventure of all.
