The Vitamin Portal

runningiphonevitamin

Lily discovered the old iPhone hidden in her grandmother's attic, covered in dust and spiderwebs. "Try this special vitamin," Grandma had whispered that morning, pressing a tiny orange pill into her hand. "It's not medicine. It's... magic."

Outside, Lily held up the dusty iPhone. The screen flickered to life, showing not apps or games, but a swirling galaxy of purple and blue stars. Her fingers trembled as she popped the vitamin into her mouth.

CRACK!

A bolt of golden light shot from the vitamin, striking the iPhone's screen. The glass rippled like water, and suddenly Lily wasn't in the attic anymore.

She stood in a meadow where grass shimmered like emeralds and flowers hummed gentle melodies. Tiny creatures with wings like stained glass flitted around her head.

"You're here!" cheered a small fairy with silver hair. "The vitamin brought you through the Mirror Gate! Our kingdom needs help!"

"What can I do?" Lily asked, wonder filling her chest.

"The Shadow Gloom has stolen our sunshine," the fairy explained sadly. "Only someone from your world can chase it away. You must run through the Rainbow Path before midnight!"

Lily nodded bravely. She began running past towering mushrooms that played music when she touched them. She ran across a river of sparkling lemonade, hopping on floating lily pads. She ran up a hill made entirely of marshmallow clouds, each step springing her higher.

The Shadow Gloom appeared—a swirling darkness that smelled like old storms. Lily's heart pounded, but she kept running, faster and faster. The vitamin's magic surged through her veins, making her feet light and her courage bright.

"You can't catch me!" she shouted, racing straight toward the darkness. The iPhone in her pocket glowed warmer and warmer, until it burst forth with blinding golden light.

The Shadow Gloom dissolved into a thousand sparkling butterflies.

Sunlight flooded the magical kingdom. The fairies cheered, throwing confetti that tasted like strawberries.

"Thank you, Lily!" The silver-haired fairy hugged her. "You saved us!"

With a flash, Lily was back in the attic, the old iPhone dark again. But her pocket felt warm, and when she looked at her hand, a tiny fairy wing charm sparkled on her wrist—proof that magic is real, and courage comes in unexpected packages.

Grandma winked when Lily ran downstairs to tell her. "I told you it wasn't just a vitamin."
